we are very happy and proud to announce the arrival of a new artist, garnica, to trenton.
rafael lopez garnica is originally from merida, venezuela. after living in caracas he decided to make the move to europe, stopping first in barcelona (where he released some great tracks for the quality galaktika label) before settling in london.
st pauli (from hamburg’s infamous neighborhood) is a record that perfectly fits trenton’s vision of deep tech-house music with a touch of minimal, and the title track is a great demonstration of that with a nice organ riff and a tight minimal beat. with “condiciones” and “fear nothing” garnica pushes us to delve even further into the emotional techno genre. the remix of “st pauli” by the italian duo cosmic cowboys takes the track and brings it deep. you will hear more from these two guys on trenton records very soon…
