giovanni verga
giovanni verga, born in 1976, started playing piano at early age studying classical music.
after that, he has always maintained his interest in studying music, attending several jazz courses and graduating in “d.a.m.s” (disciplines of arts and music) at the university of palermo in 2004.
in the beginning of ‘90s he began to dj and, since a couple of years after that, he has worked as dj in many clubs all over italy and europe playing eclectic sets that go from chilled vibes to techno passing from detroit-house and taking inspiration from jazz, funk, dub, trip hop and avant music. nowadays he runs projects as producer and performer such as: rotarydisco76 (with ettore sorrentino aka g-blaster) , cupis (with gianni gebbia), chambermachine (with camillo amalfi), evolving duo (withdiego spitaleri).
